These terms are the agreement between you and Catico Apps for the use of Ashtanga Yoga (the app). By using the app you accept them. If you don't, please stop using the app.
The app needs an account so that your practice history belongs to you rather than to a handset. You're responsible for what happens under your account, and for the address you register with staying one you can receive mail at — it's how you sign in and how we reach you.
An account is for one device at a time. Signing in on a new device signs the previous one out.
The app is a guide to a practice, not medical advice, and it cannot see you. It doesn't know your injuries, your history, or what you did yesterday. Nothing in it is a diagnosis, a treatment, or a substitute for a doctor or a qualified teacher.
You practice at your own risk, and you're the one deciding what your body can do on any given day.
Part of the app is free and the rest comes with a subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed by the app store on your device, not by us, and they renew automatically at the price shown when you subscribe until you cancel.
The free parts of the app carry advertising, which is what keeps them free. Where the law requires us to ask — across the EEA and the UK — the app asks your permission before any advertising loads, and you can reopen that choice and change it at any time in the Support section of Settings. A subscription removes the advertising.
Use it for your own practice, on your own devices, for as long as these terms hold. The drawings, text, audio and the sequences themselves stay ours.
Please don't copy or redistribute the content, sell access to it, take the app apart to extract it, or use anything automated against the service.
Messages, feature requests, bug reports and reviews sent from the Support section reach us with the app version and device they were sent from, so we can act on them. Sending one gives us permission to use it to run and improve the app. Please don't send anything you wouldn't want us to read, and don't send anyone else's personal information.
What we do with that, and with everything else the app collects, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
The app is offered as it is. We add to it, change it and occasionally take things out of it, and it depends on services — stores, notifications, a network — that we don't run. We can't promise it will always be available or always be faultless, though we would rather hear about it than not: the Support section goes straight to us.
You can stop using the app at any time. You can also delete your account outright, from Settings inside the app, or — if you have already uninstalled it — at ashtoga.com/delete-account. Either way it takes your practice history, your progress and everything else attached to the account with it, and it can't be undone.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. That belongs to your store account rather than to us, so cancel it in the store or you'll go on being billed for it.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or is being used to harm the service or other people.
Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for loss that doesn't follow from these terms in the ordinary way, and our total liability is limited to what you've paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
We'll update this page when the terms change, and the app will tell you when the change is a significant one. Carrying on using the app after that means accepting the new terms.
Write to support@ashtoga.com for anything about these terms. Inside the app, the Support section reaches us directly.
